I made this tray with some postcards I picked up from my last trip to Argentina and Uruguay. It's pretty simple to make I used an old tray I found at my mom's house.
First I painted it white (I gave it at least 4 coats)
Then I glued the postcards on with the hot glue gun.
Lastly I put about 4-5 coats of Modge Podge on top of the postcards. I'll try to post other pictures of similar trays in the future.

The tray currently sits on our two person Bedford Desk from Pottery Barn
I put magazines, bills and other random things in it.
